New York City has filed a groundbreaking flood map appeal, specifically highlighting the errors with the “Methodology” behind the science of FEMA’s flood mapping program.  This is occurring in every community across the country.

Here are actual quotes/conclusions from the flood map appeal.

FEMA’s Base Flood Elevations (BFE) are wrong, too high, between 1.1 feet and 2.1 feet across NY and NJ coastline
